Nuestro Señor Padre Jesús Desmayado: Ang Panlulupaypay ni Hesus Passion of Jesus Arrest of Jesus Flagellation of Christ Christ at the Column at Baliwag Church Good Friday processions in Baliwag; the image and carroza date back from 1863's per Baliuag Historical Society. Taken on April 29, 2024 (Good Friday) - an exhausted Christ, writhing on the floor, his left arm tied to a pillar by the wrist, his body bloodied and covered with welts. Christ’s eyes are drawn up in supplication, his mouth agape, grimacing from his indescribable torture by 2 “Hudyo” soldiers to surround the fallen Christ figure. It is one if not the most revered and most prized objects of veneration in the Philippines. The image and carroza is owned by the grandparents of Matriarch Ana Ponce, inherited by Jovita Ponce Capulong, and Mr. Alvin "Vino" Capulong and Family, one of the 16 Original oldest paraded Good Fridays. (Note II. This antique image is older than the Desmayado image of Guagua’s Don Tiburcio Dyco, carved by hand in 1882 by the accomplished sculptor, Sotero Dionisio Garcia (b. 12 Apr. 1844/ d. 10 Jun. 1917) of Quiapo, Manila, trained under the tutelage of Jose Arevalo.)
