English: A male Edible Frog (Pelophylax esculentus), caught in the breeding season. The red arrow points to the nuptial pad at the inner finger.
Deutsch: Ein männlicher Teichfrosch, Pelophylax "esculentus", gefangen zur Paarungszeit (im Rahmen einer behördlich beauftragten Untersuchung). Der rote Pfeil zeigt auf die deutlich ausgeprägte Brunstschwiele am innersten Finger.
