Description
Deutsch: Siehe Original-Legende unten in der Abbildung. 'Triton' ist der Wassersalamander. Das 'Keimbläschen' ist der Zellkern des Ovarialeies. Nach heutiger Terminologie wird das in Fig. 5 gezeigte "Lampenbürstenchromosom" genannt.
English: Cell nuclei from several young eggs from Triton (a Salamander species) at several stages of development. For sizes of corresponding eggs in mm see original legend at the bottom of the figure. Translation: "In Fig. 3, the nucleoli below the nuclear membrane start to wander in the center. From the now well visible chromatic fibers, a piece that resembles a bottle brush is magnified in neighboring Fig. 5. (Note: In today's terminology this is a Lampbrush chromosome.) Fig 6.: Collection of nucleoli in the center of the nucleus in a heap."
