Summary

Description
English: This is a representation of the initial position in a game of Ogi, a variant of Shogi. The setup is similar to that of Shogi or chess, with pieces arranged on an 8x8 board. Each player begins with an army of pieces organized into three rows.

In the row closest to the southern player, from left to right, are: the Lance, the Knight, the Silver General, the Princess, and the King, followed by another Silver General, Knight, and Lance on the flanks.

On the second row are a Bishop and a Rook.

The third row is comprised of Pawns.
