Summary

Description
English: Old Kamakura Kaido Highway as it passes through Tokorozawa, Saitama, Japan. The exact routes taken by the ancient road are not always known today as they have been obscured by neglect and alterations over the centuries. Where the route is known, there are often markers as in the gray column with the Kanji "旧鎌倉街道" written vertically on the left side of the photo.
