Summary

Description

The Old Mill Dam, Hunslet, West Yorkshire, England. It lies between the River Aire and the site of an old flax mill which is now replaced by modern housing. The dam provided headwater for the mill's waterwheel.

This the site where the body of James Richardson was found in 1882. He had been robbed, and possibly murdered. See w:Trial of Mary Fitzpatrick
