| Description |
English: Old workings just to the north of Traeth yr Afon What appear, at least, to be old workings in a low-lying area of duneland at Merthyr Mawr Warren. There are other such sites lying adjacent to the coastal track (shown on Ordnance Survey maps) which runs through this and neighbouring grid squares. All seem to show signs of the work to extract gravel and sand which it is known took place in this area in the past. |
