English: Reynato Puno[1]Reynato Puno y Serrano (born May 17, 1940) was the 22nd Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. Appointed on December 8, 2006 by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, he was the 22nd person to serve as Chief Justice. Puno had initially been appointed to the Supreme Court as an Associate Justice on June 28, 1993.
[2]Ex-Chief Justice Puno gets 2nd term as UP regent October 10th, 2012 President Benigno Aquino has reappointed former Chief Justice Reynato Puno as a member of the University of the Philippines Board of Regents. Puno, 72, was previously appointed for a term of two years, or from November 2010 to present. Puno will serve for another two years, or until Sept. 30, 2014, said the appointment paper signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa on Oct. 1. and - UP President Alfredo E. Pascual [3]is the 20th President of the University of the Philippines. He was a member of the Board of Regents, the University's highest policy-making body, representing the alumni with the position of Alumni Regent. Pascual is the first non-faculty member to hold the University of the Philippines presidency.
