Summary

Description
English: Kanji font ROM card installed in NEC PC-9801F, made in April 1984. There are 4 x 256 Kbit + 2 x 128 Kbit character ROMs. These ROMs contain 2,965 kanji glyphs of JIS Level 1 character set and 611 symbol glyphs. Empty sockets are used to add an optional JIS Level 2 character ROM kit and the Extended Kanji (NEC extensions) ROM kit. The card also has 2 x 16 Kbit static RAMs for additional text buffer, and a 16 Kbit SRAM for storing 63 glyphs of gaiji.
