DescriptionPanathenaic amphora, Mastos Painter, AM of Nafpliko, 202347.jpg
English: Panathenaic amphora by the Mastos Painter, 530-520 BC. Archaeological Museum of Nafplion, Glymenopoulos collection.
The other side depicts the reception of a horse and this jockey, probably the winners in an equestrian event of the Great Panathenaia. The man next to the horse, who wears a short chiton is identified as the trainer (hippokomos), the beardes man on the right as the owner and the beardless youth on the left as his son.
Čeština: Panathénajská amfora, Masots Painter, 530-520 před n. l. Archeologické muzeum v Naupliu, Glymenopoulova kolekce.
Druhá strana zobrazuje vítání koně a žokeje, pravděpodobně vítězů v jezdecké soutěži Velkých Panathenají. Muž vedle koně, oděný v krátkém chitonu, je patrně trenér (hippokomos), vousatý muž vpravo vlastník a mladý muž bez vousů vlevo jeho syn.
