English: Papercourt Lock, Wey Navigation This shows the tailgate of the lock and the attractive (and functional) overflow weir. About 200 years below Papercourt Lock, Broadmead Cut, which has been accompanying us nearby to the north, re-enters the 'wild' River Wey, which then rejoins the navigation, and for about five hundred yards, the navigation is occupying the natural course of the River Wey.
