Description The Parap Hangar was constructed pre WWII and housed Guinea Airways and later Qantas Empire Airways. There is evidence of the first Japanese air raid on Darwin in February 1942 in the way of bullet and shell holes within the hangar. It is currently used by the Motor Vehicle Enthusiasts Club (MVEC) as a workshop and display area.
