English: Parliament Buildings, Stormont, Belfast (1) Parliament Buildings were built in 1927/32 to a design by Arnold Thornley of Liverpool. It and its estate occupy parts of four squares. The main building manages to stretch into three. This is part of the front of the building with the main entrance (under the portico) hidden by the rhododendrons. During WWII it was painted in something approaching army camouflage green and brown.
