Various versions of the photograph have been floating around on the web for years at various Persian websites (especially at the many Farsi-language blogs at blogfa.com). The original owner of the copyright is unknown, and it's unknown whether the photo is now officially and formally in the public domain or not, but there is no reasonable way to imagine that such distribution could be harming the rightful interests of anybody whosoever.
