en: Location: Dortmund, Germany.

  • Own garden.
  • Diameter of flower approx 7.5 cm.
  • Peculiarity: Two filaments at the top of the flower (of usually five) have fused. This fact has forced the anthers upwards, thus partially displaying the pollen bed which would otherwise not be visible from this perspective.
  • A typical spiral tendril extends from the vine above.

  • Eigener Garten.
  • Durchmesser der Blüte: ca. 7,5 cm.
  • Besonderheit: Oben sind zwei der üblichen fünf Staubblätter verschmolzen. Dadurch sind sie nach oben gedreht und zeigen die darin enthaltenen Pollenkörner, die sonst aus dieser Perspektive nicht sichtbar sind.
  • Eine typische Spiralranke senkt sich von oben herab.
