Image location: Serra de Montejunto, Portugal Following the “British Flora”, this must be the rock living form of Pertusaria amara, called f. pulvinata, which differs from the usual form, living in trees, by having “the upper surface warted-papillate, the apices and ridges breaking down into small, elevated, punctiform soralia, never forming discrete round soralia”.
