English: The Polish War Memorial, situated in South Ruislip. This commemorates the 2165 Polish airmen who lost their lives in World War 2 fighting alongside the Western Allies. It is adjacent to RAF Northolt which was the main base for the Polish fighter squadrons. The memorial is by the Western Avenue/West End Road roundabout, just outside the perimeter of airfield.
