Summary

Description
English: Various slugs of the genus Arion, together with their genitalia dissected out. Other parts show the foot sole and the internal shell plate.

From Biodiversity-Heritage-Library scan of Plate 9 of Pollonera, C. (1889). "Nuove contribuzioni allo studio degli Arion europei". Atti della Reale Accademia delle Scienze di Torino 24 (13): 401–418 + pl. 9. [Pp. 623-640 in some copies.] The figure caption appears on page 418 (https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/28907265).

The plate was drawn by the author Carlo Pollonera, a renowned Italian artist as well as a malacologist.

The species are not just Italian (as the filename wrongly implies)
