English: Photograph of Port Perry, Pennsylvania, circa 1914, as printed in Pittsburgh: Glimpses of her life from many angles (1916). A less cropped version of this photo was published in the 31 October 1914 issue of Railway Review (vol. 55, no. 18, p. 527, "A Busy Traffic Center") with the following comment: "The accompanying view of the Port Perry tonnage center is one that is rarely obtainable. The photograph was taken on a Sunday morning following a holiday when the fires in the mills burned low and when few trains and river craft were in operation. During ordinary business days this entire sweep of landscape is submerged in billows of dense smoke."
