General view of the bridge
Português: Rio Arade, Portimão, Parchal, Portugal
English: The iron road bridge over the Rio Arade between Portimão and Parchal in Portugal was built in 1876. Come the 21st century it was showing signs of age. In November 2007 it was closed for extensive repairs. In 2009 the contractors proudly announced that it would re-open on 2009 July 15, on time and on budget. Here we see it laid out with tables and benches ready for a Feijoada party on the evening of July 15. The red cabins are for the sale of the product (unlike Britsh breweries, they probably make just one!) of the Sagres Brewery.

Viewed from 37°08′23″N 8°31′52″W / 37.139605°N 8.531163°W / 37.139605; -8.531163 looking east towards Parchal.
