Portrait of the 'Constant Warwick'
Description
English: This work is one of two drawings executed on the same sheet of paper using a rapid pen and wash style (the other drawing is PAH1878). Both have been approximately dated to 1685 by their style. This ship portrait is viewed from the port bow. Only the lower-masts are stepped. A number of figures are seen working in the rigging and on the tops. The long main yard has been dropped and is aportlast.
