Summary

Description
English: Primrose Mill, Harle Syke This weaving shed is currently subject to a planning proposal for housing. Until the mid-late 1970s it was powered by a fine Pollit & Wigzell horizontal tandem compound steam engine. I missed this by less than a handful of years. the engine house is behind the chimney and the boiler house with a water tank on top is to the right. The picture is from by the lodge of the preserved Queen Street Mill.
