English: Looking down from the forestry track at the pond and the earth mound where Proncy Castle stood. The pond was used as a water supply to the nearby farm and is fed from a nearby spring. It is thought that this may have been a source of water for a moat. The site commands open views to the south over the Dornoch Firth.
