English: The motif known on Tatra Mountains foothills art as "Surowiec's acceptance". Glass painting, around 1840. Jakub Surovec (in the middle, jumping) accepted into the Juraj Janosik's (first on the left) group. As a form of highwaymen exam, he cuts off one pinnacle of a mountain pine with a poleaxe, while shooting off the other one with a pistol. While such a scene never occurred, it is widespread in Goral legends. Presented in main building of Tatra Museum in Zakopane.
