Summary

Description
English: This is an electronic on board recording device, also described as an "EOBR", for monitoring the hours of service (HOS) of a professional drivers daily routine. Installed into a common carriers vehicle for automatically recording the time a driver is moving or at rest. This type of device would normally take the place of a driver recording his own hours of service via a paper log book. It can also be referred to as "paperless logs".
