English: The Reed Cormorant (Microcarbo africanus) is also known as the Long-tailed Cormorant. This photo was taken at Fish Eagle Lodge, Knysna Lagoon in Kenya. There are only two species of cormorant in Kenya - the Reed Cormorant and the White-breasted Cormorant (Phalacrocorax lucidus) so identification there is relatively straight forward.
