Summary

Description	Postcard photo of the Jet Rocket train of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad. The Jet Rocket served between Chicago and Peoria, Illinois for a time in the mid 1950s.
Date	Circa mid 1950s. The railroad used this type of train on that particular route during this time period. It was not successful for the Rock Island or for any of the other railroads who had similar trains.
