Summary

Description
English: Alkali feldspar granite. Holocrystalline texture, coarse-grained. Great amounts of potassium feldspar (orthoclase, pink-reddish in colour); the remaining minerals are quartz (vitreous, shining), plagioclase (grayish) and biotite (black). This sample comes from an undefined Scandinavian location.
Italiano: Granito ad alcali-feldspati. Olocristallino, a grana grossa. Abbondanza di K-feldspato (ortoclasio, rossastro); i minerali rimanenti sono quarzo (vetroso, brillante), plagioclasio (grigiastro) e biotite (nero). Campione proveniente da una non precisata località scandinava.
