Français : Relief votif : Sacrifice à Demeter et Core. Sur la gauche, un couple accompagné d'un jeune serviteur s'approche d'un autel pour offrir aux divinités un cochon et des mets posés sur une corbeille. A droite les grands personnages sont les déesses d'Éleusis auxquelles le sacrifice est destiné : Perséphone, ou Core, (la Proserpine des romains) tient à la main deux torches allumées. Déméter (la Céres des romains), déesse des moissons et de l'agriculture, tient une fr:phiale (petite coupe sacrificielle) de la main droite. Marbre du mont Pentélique (Grèce), Vers 340 - 320 av.
