English: "Salle Jean Pictet" - a hall named after Jean Pictet (1914-2002), the Swiss jurist best known as an expert on international humanitarian law (IHL), in the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in Geneva, Switzerland. He started working for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in 1937 and was instrumental in drafting the 1949 Geneva Conventions for the protection of victims of war.
