| Description | Spindle whorl found at Saltfleetby, Lincolnshire, with an inscription in Norse runes running around the outer wall and continuing around the face, reading : ᛫ᚮᚦᛂᚾ᛫ᚮᚴ᛫ᛂᛁᚾᛘᛏᛆᛚᚱ᛫ᚮᚴ᛫ᚦᛆᛚᚠᛆ᛫ᚦᛂᛁᚱ᛫ // ᛫ᛁᛂᛚᛒᛆ᛫ᚦᛂᚱᚢᚮᛚᚠᛚᛏ᛫ᚮᚴ᛫ᚴᛁᚱᛁᚢᛂᛋᚠ᛫ (.oþen.ok.einmtalr.ok.þalfa.þeir. // ielba.þeruolflt.ok.kiriuesf.), meaning "Óðinn and Heimdallr and Þjálfa, they help thee Úlfljótr and [?]".
