English: 81-85 S Main St, Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle, Washington. This building was built in 1890 as a joint venture between James Colman and John Collins and was initially planned to be a wooden structure, as it was just outside the city's newly established fire limits at the time. Originally known as the Colman-Collins Block, it has been known by the names of the hotels that have occupied it since it was built including the Alaska House and Alaska Commercial Hotel which was once connected to the Winehill Building by a sky bridge across the alley.
