Fair use in Selhurst High School[edit]

Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. It illustrates an educational article about the Selhurst High School, which the logo (being the crest of the school) represents.
2. It is a low resolution image (the motto cannot be read for example), and thus not suitable for production of counterfeit goods.
3. The crest is not used in such a way that a reader would be confused into believing that the article is written or authorized by Selhurst High.
4. It is not replaceable with an accurate, uncopyrighted or freely copyrighted image of comparable educational value.
