English: 13th Century Chichester cathedral Seal with (possibly) a picture of Selsey Cathedral. The style of building on this seal suggests it was copied from a much earlier Anglo-Saxon seal. The seal is held by the British Museum. Museum number 1923,1015.1.The caption in Latin reads "+ SIGILLVM: SANCTE: CICESTRENSIS: ECCLESIE" the translation is either "The seal of the Holy Church of Chichester" or "The Cross is the Seal of the Holy Church of Chichester".
