Summary

Description
English: The Shropshire sheep has the ability to thrive in all conditions and have fine thick-set wool which is long, heavy and glossy. From "Brett's Colonists' Guide," p166, a handbook of useful knowledge for European settlers in New Zealand, who were not used to southern hemisphere seasons and needed to learn a wide range of new farming skills.
