Description
English: The signature of Suzanne Ferrière (1886-1970), humanitarian activist at the civilian section of the International Prisoners-of-War Agency (IPWA) in Geneva, Switzerland, during the First World War and only the second ever female member of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) from 1924 until 1951, on a letter to ICRC president Samuel Gonard, dated 24 March 1966, from the ICRC archives (B AG 004-022).
