| Description |
English: Skatten fra Smedegade i Slagelse, der blev fundet i 1883, er det største guldfund fra dansk middelalder. Skatten bestod af 186 guldmønter, 269 sølvmønter, 4 sølvbarrer samt en række smykker i form af fingerringe, spænder og dragtsmykker. Datering: o. 1376, hvor skatten kan være blevet hengemt i forbindelse med afholdelse af Danehoffet, hvor den kun 6-årige Oluf blev valgt til konge som efterfølger til morfaderen Valdemar Atterdag, der var død året før. |
