Nederlands: Snoer van dertig grote glazen kralen en één grote barnstenen kraal. Hierbij tien bronzen ringen en een bronzen schijf (1952/III-26e-o). Het kralensnoer maakt deel uit van de grafvondst van de ‘Prinses van Zweeloo’. In het midden van de vijfde eeuw na Chr. werd vlak ten zuiden van het oude Drentse dorp Zweeloo een vooraanstaande vrouw begraven. Haar graf werd in 1952 ontdekt. Op basis van textielresten en sieraden kon een reconstructie van haar kleding worden gemaakt. Het meest bijzondere aan haar uitdossing was wel het snoer van enorme grote glazen kralen rond haar middel. |
