DescriptionSouth Australian Railways Islington Workshops -- distant view pre 1927 (SLSA B4403).jpg
English: A panoramic view of the South Australian Railways' Islington workshops taken from high ground in the location of Prospect. A four-wheeled horse-drawn vehicle with a driver and two passengers is in the foreground and cattle are grazing in the middle distance. Beyond that is the large complex of workshop buildings where locomotives, rolling stock and tramcars were built and maintained for the railways, and during World War II armaments were produced. On the back of the photograph is written "Islington Railway Workshops before 1927 (1915-27)".
