Summary

Description
English: St Michael, Framlingham, organ. One of the most noted features of the church is the world-famous 17th-century Thamar organ. Only eight organs in total survived the English Civil War as Oliver Cromwell apparently had a dislike of their ornate style and ordered them to be destroyed. Of these, there are just three remaining Thamars - the other examples being in Gloucester 924028 and Stanford on Avon 1017204
