As the dot matrix destination display proclaims, 11125 was the last production Titan ever built, from a total run of 1,185. It was outshopped in November 1984 from the production line at Leyland's expanded factory in the Lillyhall Industrial Estate in Workington (earlier ones were built by British Leyland subsidiary Park Royal Vehicles in Park Royal, London). As with the vast majority of production, it was delivered new to London Transport as part of the dual-door T-class, allocated fleet number T1125 (with second hand purchases, the London Transport fleet numbering eventually reached T1131).
As part of the privatisation process it entered the Stagecoach Selkent fleet in 1994, before being transferred out of London to Stagecoach's East Kent division in 1997. There it was renumbered 1185, then 7285 in 1999, and finally 11125 in 2003 as part of the nationwide numbering scheme. It operated until 2005, when it passed into the company's preservation fleet, appearing at various rallies and events.
In 2008 it was purchased by another Kent operator, Autocar, who have continued to take it to rallies, as pictured here, while still in its former owner Stagecoach's livery.
The dot matrix display is not original, having been fitted by Stagecoach presumably. At some point in its life, probably also at Stagecoach, the centre door has also been removed.
