STANLEY E. ELKIN. M.P. In 1905 he established the MaritimeNail Company, Ltd., of which he is man-aging director. Among his other activities are the fol-lowing: President, Motor Car & Equip-ment Co., Ltd., St. John; vice-president,Wilson Box Co., Ltd., Fairville, N.B.;vice-president, Canada Nail & Wire Co.,Ltd., West St. John; director, Nova ScotiaTrust Company, Halifox; president, Rod-stan & Co., London, England, and partner,St. Martins Shipbuilding Co., St Martins,N.B. Although entering the House of Com-mons only at the last general electionshe was selected as one of the membersof the commission to Washington to in-vestigate the U.S. war organization andmake recommendations to the CanadianGovernment.
