English: Sweden and neighboring countries in circa 1250.
Incorrect. The colonialization of Lappland did not start until after 1670. Norrbotten was not colonialized until after 1330. The borders are not exact. The Finnish eastern border is not regulated by treaty, the line rather indicates the border of Swedish conquest. The Norwegian-Swedish border was regulated in a meeting between the Swedish King Valdemar Birgersson and the King of Norway Magnus VI the law-mender which took place in Sarpsborg, Norway 1273.
