Summary

Description
English: Example of 2D Error Map form of Error Location Analysis technology demonstrating that multiple simultaneous error-producing syndromes can be identified by analyzing the location of errors in a bit stream. This is a picture of the errors on a piece of magnetic tape, where sequential tracks (units) of 38,848 bits are stored perpendicular to the direction of motion.
