DescriptionTeflon tape used for sealing plumbing connections.jpg
English: When connecting the threads of two metal pipes, which screw together, or a a plumbing nut that seals a high-pressure hose, teflon tape is wound around the threading in the direction which the screw will take -- three times. This helps seal the connection and prevents water from leaking out through the threads.
