1958 haben wir in Walton in allen Luken Baryt als Schüttgut übernommen, Ladung bestimmt für Häfen in der Karibik. Die Hauptverwendung für Baryt ist in der Tiefbohrtechnik als Zusatz für Bohrspülungen. Auf dem Anker zwei Mann der Decksbesatzung; rechts ein Matrose, links ein Leichtmatrose. - Der Hafenanlage von Walton wurde aufgegeben und ist heute verlassen. ----- In 1958 we have in Walton in all hatches barite taken in bulk, cargo destined for ports in the Caribbean. The principal use for barite is in deep drilling as an additive for drilling fluids. On the anchor two members of the deckscrew; on the right an AB, on the left a ordinary seaman. - Today the harbor of Walton was abandoned. ----- En 1958, nous avons pris à Walton dans tous les trappes barytine comme cargaison en vrac à destination des ports dans les Caraïbes. La principale utilisation de la barytine est en forage profond, comme additif pour des fluides de forage. Sur le point d'ancrage sont deux hommes de l'équipage, à droite un un vieux marin qui a laissé un matelot. - Les quais de Walton a été abandonné et est fermé aujourd'hui.
