English: The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Calne This splendid reredos was erected by Canon John Duncan, vicar of Calne from 1865 to 1907. It is situated under the east window above the altar. The three panels portray, from left to right, the birth of Christ, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. Look out for the Virgin Mary and the three Wise Men and the Roman soldiers at the foot of the risen Jesus.
