Summary

Description
English: The Seven Arch Bridge, Rearsby, Leicestershire. Only six arches are visible today. The original wooden packhorse bridge was replaced in 1714 by this stone one. It is said to have taken six men nine days to complete it at a total cost of £11 2s 2d. The brook it crosses is choked with watercress in this photograph. The white-painted concrete posts mark the line of Brook Side.
