Description
English: The Wemyss Caves, Dovecot Cave. These caves are renowned as they contain a unique heritage of ancient carvings some dating from as far back as the Neolithic period ( about 5000 years ago ). There are several caves some in better condition than others but even today archaeologists are still learning about the carvings on display at these famous caves.
