Photo shows Statue of President Abraham Lincoln, entitled "Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight", after a poem by Vachel Lindsay. Lincoln created the State of West Virginia by Proclamation and Signature.
Statue sculpted by WV native Fred Martin Torrey (1884-1967). Dedicated on June 20, 1974 by WV Governor Arch A. Moore, Jr.
